When I saw the title, I immediately opened to see if it might help me in my current search for something to clean my gutters. 😉

My search continues but I sure got a smile seeing this cute pup!

Love it! Grew up about 15 miles from there. Been there literally hundreds of times. Seen some great bands. Jerry Lee Lewis almost fell off the stage on top of me one time. Seen many other great performers. Asleep at the Wheel, Taj Mahal, Flatlanders, Bill Kirchen, Billy Bacon and the Forbidden Pigs, Gary P Nunn, Hot Club of Cowtown, Leon Russell, Delbert McClinton, Micky and The Motorcars, Old Crow Medicine Show, Reckless Kelly, Steve Earle, Wayne Toups, The Fabulous Thunderbirds to name a few.

I concur, RG, Burke & Kymarto, Linda from Maine, and a few others always contribute in the most positive way.
Their responses usually become a "Show & Tell" for me.
I usually take aboard quite a lot of great info/references from their posts.
Best Wishes,

The following is just my experience … leading me to believe that mirrorless cameras may not be as tough as DSLR’s. And this includes lenses for each. I still love my mirrorless though and use them 98% of the time. I’m now a bit more careful.

I’ve had four major drops, each of them being from about waist high. Two were with Canon DSLRs; two with Sony Mirrorless.

The DSLR drops, if I remember correctly, were with a Canon 5D Mark III body and 24-70L f/2.8 on one fall, damaging only the lens hood which absorbed most of the impact. The other was with with a Canon 7D Mark II with the same lens. There was no damage on this fall to either the body or the lens.

One Mirrorless fall was with a Sony a7Riii but can’t remember which lens. The lens was not damaged; the camera was. I immediately ordered another Sony a7Riii and sent the damaged body in for repairs which cost a couple of hundred dollars. I still have both of those a7Riii bodies. In my opinion, amazing cameras. I’ve since added an a7Riv but often still use the iii bodies.

The other Mirrorless fall was with a Sony a9 body with the 100-400 GM lens. The body had some damage but was still functional. I sold it at a heavy discount to a fellow photographer. I have now replaced the a9 with an a1. I immediately ordered another (IMHO, amazing) 100-400 GM lens. I sent the broken one in for repair at a cost of somewhere around $1,000. I sold the repaired lens to another fellow photographer at a heavy discount. She took that lens on an African photo safari and has been using it for several years.

My nephew got himself a Russian bride online. After 2 years she divorced him. This qualified her USA citizenship.
He was duped.

My joking response here, albeit a bad joke and politically incorrect, but I can’t resist:
“Prenup, and time for a new one”

I really don’t mean it though since there is nothing like a long term committed relationship built on mutual love and respect.

Before I retired, when I used PCs, I’d frequently used the free version and was pleased with it. But, that was a long time ago. I’ve since switched to using a Mac instead of PCs.

Does CCleaner or Glary cleaner or another program work on Macs?

I’m adding myself to this long list of fellow humans who feel and understand the intense pain of your loss. I’m so sorry. I hope that our shared mourning can somehow ease your suffering.

Thanks guys. I find the transaction but haven’t yet identified a “source”. I’ll keep looking, maybe eventually just giving up and giving thanks to my good fortune! 😉

I use Apple Pay very rarely. I see tiny “daily cash” credits in the neighborhood of one, two or three cents. I understand these probably come from things like pizza delivery orders.

On a couple of occasions, I’ve seen a larger “daily cash” credit, most recently a little over $130 but I cannot figure out where that comes from. I’ve researched orders I’ve made, payments I’ve made, etc., all to no avail.

I’ve got a 40+ year accounting background but I’m stumped. Any insights?

It might work

You’re right, it sure might. On the small screen I looked at, the image appeared closer to a 1x1 ratio than a 4x5 ratio, but could certainly be wrong.

I like it. It appears to me that a square print would eliminate the need to crop off part of what’s shown in the posted image.

I have just heard from RRS. They are going to supply me with the custom plate and likely offer a return for the MC-L plate. So all resolved and good news!

Wonderful! I love my RRS gear and the support I’ve gotten from them. So glad they came through for you. 👍🏽
