I clicked on the multicolored rose on the bottom menu bar of my iMac today and the screen that came up said "Welcome to Photos". A few days ago, clicking on that spot would have brought up a collection of over 100,000 photos and albums. I haven't been able to find what happened or where the proper file went.
The computer is an Imac, Retina 5K, 27", late 2015 and it has adequate memory and storage in reserve. Two external hard drives are attached to the iMac and are used to back up the iMac every hour or so through the Apple Time Machine.
A few days ago I updated it to macOS Monterey 12.1. Could that have caused the issue?
Would anyone know how I can tell which previous Time Machine backup would have the previous Photos file with all of the pictures? I don't want to go back any farther than necessarily. Any other ideas would be appreciated. I did turn off the computer and turn it back on.
Thanks. Rich
Right now it’s kind of like a box of chocolates and your response makes me not want to know anything more. My suggestion was meant to be helpful, productive. Good luck.
You might consider repeating the appropriate pictures without the sleeve.

Refill your own. I’ve been refilling my Canon for about 3 or 4 years now with no problems.
How about posting a picture showing exactly where you drill the hole in the cartridge. I bought a refill kit and ended up with a little mess.
I gave up on cartridge printers and their unreasonable cartridge cost (and how some printers will not work now unless you use the OEM cartridges). Bought an Epson ET-3760 with tanks. It’s surprising how they cost significantly different from supplier to supplier. Now I have thrown out two HP all-in-ones and have an HP Laserjet Pro M451dw and a Canon Pixma MP620 just sitting by watching the more economical Epson printing happily. (Costco online was the lowest price last month.)

The subject appears to be a combination of the woman and the sign on top of the building. Maybe she didn’t like sharing the spotlight.
Hi,
When you changed to Synology did you have to buy the smaller size drives?
And everything you buy at Home Depot or Lowe’s helps China build another island military base or buy another international port. Just form a line and buy her lens!
To justabeginner,
You deserve an award for your pleasant responses and hopefully you will receive the productive PM you suggested in response to your ad. All the best!
[quote=Brian S.]Thanks trix.
“What I was wondering about was why a used lens is selling for the same price as a New one with a Warranty. Please try not to get your nickers into such a bunch next time. If you can point out where I was picking on the sellers price please let me know.”
Do you now understand the difference between this ad and the Canon.com ad? It isn’t just warranty. The ads include different equipment. Attention to detail would help reduce the tendency to hijack member ads.

What am I missing??
I just checked Canon USA web site and came up with this as a price...........
For a brand new lens.
Maybe you are missing the ET-160 lens hood, listed on the same site, discounted, is $688.
“I would be interested in comments of what you all might think. The web site is on my profile, and I am not putting a link here or I will get in trouble with admin for posting links.”
Dick,
Looked on your profile....didn’t see a link to your web site.
Keyboard and pliers reflects typical care? No thanks.
