I left it out for about 90 minutes. When I powered it on the Menu screen came up. But the button still doesn't work. Thanks!

Thanks, a little help with smart filters and Gaussian Blur filters on the first one. A lot of work, but I think worth the time on the right shot!

Some of the buttons on the back of the camera stopped working. The preview, menu and maybe some others. Some still work fine. Doing a manual reset with the green dot buttons together did not do the expected flashing on the command window as suggested by Nikon. Anyone have this experience? The camera works fine otherwise.

Looking through my archives I found a number of Ruby-throated images I never processed. Probably because I got so many decent images that day. These were taken at the Butterfly exhibit at Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet, SC in 2013. Unfortunately they down sized the garden and you don't find that many hummies there anymore. Taken with the Nikon D800 with the 70 - 300 lens. I was close enough that it gave me enough reach and is a faster focusing lens than the 80 - 400 I was using then for birding.

This area of France called Alsace Lorraine went back and forth between Germany and France for centuries. Witness the sorry state of most of the Rhine castles. So most people have German and French blood and speak both languages.

We had an optional excursion on our Viking Cruise on the Rhine to Colmar. I was really thrilled to see the canals and the wonderful gardens.
