Any "G" lenses will not work on the old N8008 as it requires an aperture ring on the lens.

This isn't exactly true for all older camera bodies. IF the camera has shutter priority, (the N8008 does) or program mode, you don't need an aperture ring - the aperture is set by the body.

They are relatively easy to remove. I don't bother with them.

A few things come to mind:
1. The mount is the same - you can physically put it on the camera. I can't say for sure on the tuning, but I doubt it will matter (unless the 8080 has that function).

2. The 18-200 is a DX lens, meant for APS sensors so you will get a lot of vignetting at the wider focal lengths. Think about looking through a tube.

3. Although I'm not familiar with the N8080, specifically (I have a N90s and a much older Nikkormat) you won't be able to shoot in Manual mode since the lens doesn't have an aperture ring - auto and semi-auto only.

#1. As so often happens, the selective color actually draws attention AWAY from the couple - just the opposite of what you want. It took me six or seven views to see he's grabbing a peek down her bodice.

#2. I'm not a fan of up-the-nose shots.

#3. I really like this one, though I probably would frame it a bit tighter.

YMMV. More importantly is how the bride and groom like them.

All digital photos are post-processed. If you shoot jpeg, the camera is doing the PP. Raw shots have to be post processed otherwise all you would see are zeros and ones.

I'd also say that all negatives are also post processed in the darkroom with enlarger exposure adjustments at the very least.

Just export the photo as a jpeg to your hard drive, then upload it to Flickr independent of LR.

Don't rely on the viewer on the back of the camera - it's too small to really check sharpness.

This is handheld 50mm without VR. 1/160 second at f/8, ISO 400. This was at the butterfly garden inside the Smithsonian Natural History museum.

Since raw files are not actually images, but the raw data, no processing is applied to them. The values for these settings are recorded.

If you are actually downtown, there is a Penn Camera at 840 E Street NW. They are owned by Calumet, now, but kept the Penn name.

Thanks, Snowbear - my wife said, "That sure is PINK!" Did you ever see anything saying as to "why" the engine was pink - think it would have been an expensive paint job!

it's a vinyl wrap - very temporary. The engine is pink because of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Department participates in a big way. After the month is over, they will remove the wrap and the engine will go back to being red and white.
