This was a great sequence of shots.
Some great shots of Lemur, In #2 could he be saying he thought he saw a relative in the audience and in #7 he is sure there is a relative in the audience. Again some great shots, thank you.
Good friend let me use his Sony a7iii with a 50mm f/1.4 Zeiss Planar AZ FE lens. Took some great shot even in low light. My question to fellow Hogs is, are any of you familiar with this camera and how well does the adapter for Canon lenses work? Thank you in advance for all your comments and help. I am a Canon shooter with several "L" lenses. Would it be worth using with my present set of lenses?
Mik, this is an excellent shot I am glad I stopped to look.
Great Work. Your Portraits of these great birds are fantastic.
Hello fellow Hogs. My parents were cleaning up my old room and found boxes of 35mm film negatives, some belonged to my father the rest to me. So here is you next assignment, can you recommend a good 35mm film scanner under $800.00? Let me thank you in advance for all your help and good shooting.
SS I thought about your response and think I should get started "now," not with just the weight issue but trying to get comfortable with the use of these lenses together.
Fellow Hogs these are all great ideas. I will go out with the two (2) lenses I mentioned prior to the match and get a basic idea of the field coverage. The idea of the 300 and 400's will also be checked also. Your ideas are greatly appreciated and give me some pre shooting to do.
Thanks for the advice (rgrenaderphoto).
On March 21 will be attending high school Lacrosse match would like suggestions on lenses. I will have access to the entire field except behind the goals. I have a Canon 5D III and a 7D II, 24-70 and 70-200 both 2.8 and IS. My request is for something with longer reach which I will rent for the day. Thank you for you help in advance. Also will use the time until the match to practice with some suggestions. This will be an outdoor day (4pm) event.
I would be one of those who look at UHH first thing in the morning
Regarding the 120-300mm lens. This is a very good lens I have used it on both the Mark III and the 7D MkII. The one drawback to this lens is the "weight", it is a monster even on a monopod. I would suggest you rent this lens to try it out before you purchase. The shots you get will be great but rent it first. Happy shooting.
