My wife and I were in Paris two years ago and I went line and hired. Local professional. I wanted some a photographer that knew the city and could position me to take phots of things everyone does nut from different positions. I hired her for one morning and one night. Each session was about four hours. It cost about $125 for her time. Also, I rented from her two tripods. She also had a lot of recommendations about places in the. City an d helped us become comfortable with riding the sub way.
I would highly recommend this.

the sigma is a good lens. But you do not want to put hiking shoes on a grey hound. Evern expensive hiking shoes.
The 70 - 200 will be good some of the low light churches and possibly some street shots. Also on the river boat ride. The 24 70 a must. You will use it most of the time. A wider lens is a little over kill and if you take one you may get very little use out of it. When I got tired of lugging the big lens, some days I would use my 50 1.8.
