Time for a new challenge and flowers it will be. Was lucky to be able to get some new ones as it has been raining here most days or windy. Went to one of the local parks on sunday afternoon with hopes of some flowers. I got flowers but they may not be the best as it was very windy. Was also able to go out into our yard the other morning to see what I could find. Here are a few to get us started.

Great Agnes. So many beautiful flowers in a day and can't imagine where it will all end. Great start.

Still having severe thunderboomers every afternoon which clear the air for an hour or two. Have had hail, high winds etc but so far no damage. Orchards have been hit hard by the hail. But the aftermath and setting sun turned our road into a ribbon of gold.

Lovely!

I can understand your plight fish. It's been pretty rough here in NC.

Yes, I remember the east coast only too well, for I spent most of the sixties there in the Navy. I do remember some great mountain trout fishing though in NC; great memories.

Hi, Don. Same here. Like the "after the storm".

Thanks Pat. It was almost eerie when the storm blew over and the sky in the West turned yellow-ochre

The only problem with this hot humid weather is our ponds usually get covered with algae. We did see a little frog enjoying the cool pond though.

Not that's a gorgeous Summer pond. I'd love to fly fish that one when it cools down a little.

I love it when the Squirrels just lounge around like that.

Yes I do also and I don't have to sic my mean ole puppy after them when they terrorize the bird feeders. They really look innocent like this: not!

Hot, Hotter and Hotter - throw in Humidity and it’s been one hot summer everywhere. For this challenge capture images that radiate heat, haze, and humidity - enough to make the viewer sweat! So, “how hot is it out there?"

Great start Pat. Been hot and muggy up here aslo and finally had a little rain last night do cool things off but we may pay for it today in humidity.

Squirrel lounging on the porch, too hot to ruin one of my bird feeders today.

Sunset last night after storm.

Welcome once again to FREE SUNDAY where we get to post what we missed, what we think might be cool or whatever we have to share

Good morning RR and a very happy Fathers Day to you and all the father hoggers out there. I haven't had much snap time lately but will post a couple from this past week.
