Time for a new challenge and flowers it will be. Was lucky to be able to get some new ones as it has been raining here most days or windy. Went to one of the local parks on sunday afternoon with hopes of some flowers. I got flowers but they may not be the best as it was very windy. Was also able to go out into our yard the other morning to see what I could find. Here are a few to get us started.
The start of a magnolia flower.
Had to look up for this magnolina flower.
Not sure what this is, but thought that it as interesting. The only one I did not have to worry about the wind as it was down pretty goodin the plant.

I've never seen one like #3. What do you call it? Your layers show you've been working :) Thanks for hosting, Agnes...

Here are two I've been working on today.
A wild flower that invades everywhere in the garden.

The lemon tree in the greenhouse has started to bloom. Trying to get that little insect on the stamen to show up better.

Found some today. I think they might be dying hydrangeas or snowballs? But I had never seen all the variations in one plant.

We have a young yellow magnolia tree in our front yard, should bloom next year.

TY No, It's not Vinca. Vinca blooms in the spring here and has gone by. I do not know what the name of this is, but I do know that it grows everywhere while I am sleeping every night. It's easily weeded out but it pops up wherever in can find one square inch.I do like the color of the flower.
Not my ordinary subject, but I'll give it try
I just received my Ebay purchase this evening. A grand 105mm prime lens. I had to play with it a little. Here are a few that I came up with.
