I remember there was a "Beagle Brigade" at Dulles Intl a few years ago. It was a group of beagles trained by Customs Enforcement to walk around the international baggage claim area to detect fresh food and veggies that travellers were attempting to illegally bring into the States.
The beagles wore green vests and would sit next to the passenger when it detected contraband on their person or in their carry-on. Beagles have a phenomonal sense of smell apparently better than German Shepherds, labs and other larger dogs. The beagle is also small enough not to scare small children too.
I heard on a travel show hosted by Rick Steves ( a European travel guru) that it is cheaper to buy your train tickets before you leave the US. I think there may be a business in NYC that sells Eurarail passes, so they may also be able to sell you tickets to match your travel plans. Sorry, I don't remember the name of the company.
If you have your itinerary set, this should help you buy the correct dates and departures.

If you want to find another person who has no idea what they are talking about, don't be afraid to look in a nearby mirror. DeBlasio et al should share the blame because by saying that the police need to be held accountable-- WHICH THEY ARE OR THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY GRAND JURIES CONVENED. I hope that you would agree that accountability isn't accomplished by "killing the pigs".
The Grand Jury was composed of normal people like you and me and I doubt that the police in Ferguson and NYC had any play in that decision.
YES, I'm proud to say that I am a REPUBLICAN, but "my kind" aren't the only ones saying something is wrong with this picture when someone claims that he was going to kill police officers in revenge for Brown and Garner and then does it- even 200 mi away from where he lived and after he shot and seriously wounded his X.

Thanks. I am afraid to watch the news now because it's hard not to hear more about how wrong our LEOs are. Granted, there may be some who deserve to lose their badge and join others as guests of the state, but there are a greater number who are just doing the very difficult job that they have chosen to do for the greater good of the rest of us.
No I'm not a LEO and I haven't slept in Holiday Inn Express recently either.
...that DeBlasio, Holder, and the incumbent should realize that they encouraged revenge killings against NYPD and all of the other PDs. I read that another LEO was shot and run over in FL.
I get very upset when someone-- no matter what color their skin is -- calls the Brown and Garner killings "Police brutality". Let's face it everybody -- Brown - ESPECIALLY BROWN -- and Garner were resisting.
Our men and women who wear the blue uniform have every right to be able to go home and celebrate life with their families EVERY DAY and EVERY NIGHT too !!! If anyone of us "civlians" were being beaten, would we just meekly stand by and take the beating peacefully ?
