This is a link to his first post. As he says, this is not for advanced users. You can change the "1" at the end of the link to "2,", "3", etc., to get the next tips. I think he's up to 6 now.

Another rich kid with a backpack pack showing us all how beautiful Vietnam is. As a Vietnam Vet I don’t get it. I’m not going into a big rant but I could write from now until tomorrow morning. This would be like my father watching a volleyball game on Omaha Beach or my father-in-law watching a bike ride around the Bataan Peninsula. You want to take a scooter ride kid? How about from Baghdad to Fallujah?

As another step in my education, I am submitting photos to a stock photo site. I have lots of questions, but here is one. I have a photo of a young girl taken as she looks out to the sea. No face is visible. She is the only human in the photo. Do I need a release form?
Any tips or recommendations on this stock photo thing would be appreciated.
Thanks
George

Send it in without a release. If they accept it, Fine. If they reject it because you have no signed model release then the answer is YES you need one! Simple. Good luck.

A very detailed video of the innards of the Space station.
Can anyone identify the cameras and lenses seen in the video at about the 17.50 minute time frame?

I took my monopod out with me yesterday and got a few pictures of birds using that. Here are a few of the ones I got. I used manual focus as a lot of the birds were hiding in the trees. Constructive criticism appreciated.

Great pics!! Love the road runner.

The National Anthem should be sung the way it was written. It doesn't need improvement.

"Having said that we will probably now be hauled up and made to listen to all those awfull singers that open the superbowl and try and disguise a lack of talent with screeching off key vocals done under the guise of 'making it their own'. Give me the Welsh singing at Cardiff Arms international any day. (And I'm not even Welsh)" Me neither and I agree with you!!!

They are highly reputable, as much so as Adorama or B&H. These 3 are the "ABC's" of big camera stores.

When we first married, my wife was utterly devoid of any knowledge or experience in sex. As we lay in bed that first night, she had no idea about how to consummate our love.

Having been raised on a farm, she must have seen something, I thought, so I asked her if she had ever seen dogs breeding. She said she had. Aha, I thought. Maybe my night would be saved.

I told her to do what the dogs did. So she got out of bed and pissed on the bureau.

Hi, Happy New Year all! I got a new IMac for Christmas which solved my horrible Vista problem with LR! The Mac has a learning curve and I don't know how to get the photos into LR from iPhoto. I downloaded from the camera into iPhoto, which I have to figure out. I also got the Adobe subscription for $10.
I looked at some utube videos, and one person said you cannot import into LR from iPhoto. Is this true?! Also should I be importing the pics into iPhoto or somewhere else on my IMac?
Please be specific in layman's terms as I am very new to the iMac and not very computer savvy!!
Hi, Happy New Year all! I got a new IMac for Chris... (show quote)

You have all the photos from your camera in iphoto now all you have to do is export them into a LR directory that you have set up somewhere on your Mac or an attached hard disk. You do that by selecting all the photos you want to export to LR by holding down the command key and with the mouse click on each pic you want to export to LR. Then go to the iphoto file pull down menu in the top window (in iPhoto) and select "export". The pic flow goes from your camera to iPhoto to LR. in this scenario, otherwise you could go right from your camera into LR. You are not going to import from LR into iPhoto.

I'm not offended by the language. I am offended that parents would do this to a two year old. A two year old cannot decide if this is something she is willing to do or not. Seems like child abuse to me. Where did this little girl learn this word?

You should be offended by the language from a two year old child and you should be offended by the comments thinking this was "funny". What the hell is so funny about pouring a bucket of cold water over a two-year old's head.
