Hope we can do that for him. He sure gives us lots of happy moments right now just by watching his behavior.
We think he was let behind when people moved and he has been struggling to survive. He is now fed by us and he comes by at the same time every morning and evening. We can approach him now and he doe snot run away. Progress has been made until we can touch and take to veterinary.
This season, not as many as last year, but they are arriving at the lake.
First i thought they were aliens, they usually park near the craziest guy on the block, who fortunately was taken "up" and disappear. Maybe they were trying to bring him back. Anyway, then that my neighbor was trying to get on my patio with a tube and a camera to spy on me... he's been trying to get the guava son the tree before i do. Then i thought about armadillos, voles, gophers and yes, sinkholes too. i have seen all of these except sinkholes, so i don't think they exist -(I am talking like some type of people we all know, ha.ha)- and i don't want to think of that possibility.
So, it means i will have to call somebody in to verify the holes... Yes, seriously, before the holes there were some mounds of soil but they have flattened out. Maybe they ate the soil, whoever they are.
I am pleased with the answers, it means nobody knows until one sees what is living down there that wants to surprise me.
i am not a native of Florida so i don' t know what these holes are that are appearing on the backyard. never experienced tho s in other parts of the country. i think they could have been created by voles or some other animal. i have seen possums and armadillos on the site but don't think they did this.
What do you think?
Who should i contact "if they can be exterminated". I fear the answer to this question is NO. But let's hear what you can say.
