This is Luci's last day at the Elephant and Dog Sanctuary. I suppose there will be tears knowing Luci, she will be saying good-bye to all the 400-500 dogs personally bless her. These pictures are from yesterday. They could be the last from the Sanctuary.

Lovely little kids.
Dogs are better than some humans.

[quote=PeterM]Sorry, but I just have to say this ..... It's not new! Stop the "cropped sensor" stuff. At best it's a marketing gimmick.

For crying out loud!!!!!
35mm aspect is the reference for popular
modern day digital camera formats following on
from the same in film.
Up from 35mm film was and still is medium
then large format. And below 35mm digital
sensor formats are cropped and other sizes.
Whether you like it or not.
If someone doesn't like that, then they can
invent their own.

[quote=larrypayne]Sorry, I can't forget 9/11. I watched those poor souls jumping from the Towers. I watched the Towers being blown to bits by explosives while reducing those inside to fragments so small they had to be dumped into the landfill at Fresh Kills on Staten Island.

No one should be sorry for expressing
their feelings and thoughts.
Especially about these extremely bad
people.

Just because someone is a professor,
doesn't mean he/she has common sense
or decency or humanity.
They can just as likely be raised with no
social or family values or humanity
and be weak minded and easily led by
those preying on their weak
family-cohesiive values.

When i take a picture with this camera, the picture always turns out a little bit dark. How can i change the settings to make the picture turn out the like the real scene?

Where do you view them?
Do you mean on the camera's LCD screen?
If so, you can adjust the LCD screen brightness in the menu.

I shoot a Nikon D600 with a 24-70/2.8 lens. Settings are Auto ISO, Auto1 WB, RAW, Continuous shooting mode. I noticed there was a difference in the shots on the viewfinder but thought is was just glare or something. When I loaded them into Lightroom I realized there was a difference. Both were shot at 1/500 and f/5 but it seems the white balance changed from 3800 in the first shot to 3550 on the second. I realize WB can change but don't think it should within one second with conditions not changing. Is there a setting that could have been changed? Hoping someone has an idea.

Yes as said, others with flash, and minute changing of stage lighting et cetera, will effect white balance.

That's incredible. Being a fitter and machinist

I recently purchased a hp pavillion with windows 8 having a problem with windows loading telling me it's a firewall issue but it's not anyone having the same problem? When I go to share my pictures from adobe elements it's also telling me a problem with the internet connection but that's working on my iPad.

I'm unsure why you don't just take it back.

She continued, "I ache for unwanted children in the world, for polar bears, and elephants, whales, and Monarch butterflies, and dolphins, gorillas, and chimpanzees."

She couldn't find tears for the innocent
men, women, children of Pol Pot's
murderers and psychopaths.
I have photos of her in my toilet.
