I recently purchased a hp pavillion with windows 8 having a problem with windows loading telling me it's a firewall issue but it's not anyone having the same problem? When I go to share my pictures from adobe elements it's also telling me a problem with the internet connection but that's working on my iPad.

From what I've heard, 8.1 is a substantial improvement over 8.0. I'm using 7.

Have you ever tried something like Norton Security on a daily basis and then switch over to GOOGLE CHROME?

I have Windows 7 with its updates, and use Norton before I use PC.

I stopped using Norton years ago. I now use Avira.

I have a friend who got 8 on a laptop for Christmas. If you can manage to find the firewall settings then change them to suit your work flow. Although 8 is supposed to be easier, someone left their lunch of logic at home the day they made 8 and they all thought it was a good laugh. Above are two links that can make using 8 easier.... both give 8 the look of 7 so things might be a bit easier if you try one. Good luck.

That's what I mean about logic. Think of the stupidest place or way they could make something accessible and you'll have no trouble whatsoever. Honest.
