You have to tell everyone who's ever driven the interstate
You have to tell anyone who has flown in a plane
You have to tell anyone who's ever taken a prescription drug
You have to tell every special needs kid who's on SSI
You have to tell every senior on Medicare
You have to tell every poor family on food stamps
You have to tell anyone who's had cancer treatments developed from federal grants
You have to tell every low-income child who's been able to eat lunch at school
for free
You have to tell everyone who's ever visited a National Park
You have to tell anyone who's life was saved by a seatbelt or an airbag
You have to tell every child who no longer has to be exposed to leaded paint
You have to tell every person of color who was had to use a separate bathroom or lunch counter.

After that then maybe I'll tell the one person in the country who has never benefitted from the federal government just how bad it really is. But who are we kidding, there is no one whose life isn't better because of the federal government.

President Barack Hussein Obama held a press conference to announce that he is declaring the month of November 'National Muslim Appreciation Month'.

"The Muslim community deserves our full acceptance and respect," Obama told reporters. "We have killed millions of Muslims overseas since the September 11th attacks. They are not all bad. In fact most of them are good. So from now on, November will be a month to celebrate the Muslim community, the Sunnah and the Quran."

Khaled Matei who is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party told CNN he is pleased with Obama and his actions. "I spoke with President Obama by telephone yesterday and personally thanked him for what he is doing for the Muslim community," Matei said. "This is definitely a step in the right direction I explained to him. Praise Allah."

Obama informed reporters about his future plans for helping Muslims around the world.

"I will be working with Congress in making it easier for Muslims to earn a Green Card and achieve American citizenship," Obama said.

"Currently as it stands, obtaining a Visa or Green Card for a Muslim is very difficult. There are too many background checks in place and I plan to fix that."

Obama continued, "Muslims are hardworking people who are just looking to live the American Dream like the rest of us. Mr. Matei of the Muslim Brotherhood assured me they want to come to this country to help us, not harm us."

Obama finished the press conference by explaining to reporters how happy he is with America.

"Folks, there is no way we could have had a 'National Muslim Appreciation Month' 20 years ago. That really says a lot about the growth and progress of this great country."

(20 years ago there was not a President stupid enough to declare a National Muslim Appreciation Month!)

I do not see at all how one employee (or many others for that matter) be blamed for doing what she is ordered to do. It is not about killing people here or illegal orders.

The order is in compliance with the 'NO MONEY" to pay for anything. That there is even a shadow of a service is amazing. The WH has nothing to do with the 'NO MONEY', congress does. After all they can pass a law to force the park open regardless of security and budgeting, after all, this open space, right?

Park rangers administer everything from dealing with trash to safety of the public who do have this expectation. Take them out and soon the damned parks become like NY Central Park a few years ago.

Congress **** is trying to rewrite or delay a law that has been unsuccessfully challenged in courts by taking the country hostage. I support Obama here EVEN if think some parts of this law are wrong and/or do not go far enough.

If you had two bits of sense you would realize that if this minority i will describe as of the usable-part-of-a-rear-horse-ends is allowed to do so anyone can by-pass any law by doing it again.

Just try to think of what the result would be if all laws are prevented to work by doing this?

Since my membership, I've learned some really cool and interesting facts from Chit-Chat. Really great videos sent our way by some really cool and caring UHH members. However, as the old adage proves once again, "It only takes but a few to screw it up for the majority." Yes, this adage does exist somewhere in the volumes of history....as proven right here in UHH General Chit-Chat. Those few use methods of communication that I remember during my horrific years as a 6th grader.....oh how those bullies could tear down others for the sake of making themselves look big and huge, which if you really examined, were just little 'old boys who would probably pleasure themselves with smut rather than enlighten the world with respect. Enough of your petty BS that you consistently garner from right wing sources. Grow up boys, just listen and watch and hope or pray that you can somehow use your actions instead of your meaningless, insignificant WORDS to contribute to our country and to our world. Oh yeah, you guys who seem to have all the answers to our administration's problems? Join your congress people, your senators, your mayors, your governors, your president....do your responsible part with responsible action rather than stoking your ego (and other parts of your anatomy) with meaningless and disrespectful WORDS.

You can beat the crap out of your teacher in CA and not get suspended from school.... but god forbid a child too young to understand his crime bring a toy gun to school, he will be tortured insane zealots and then suspended for a lengthy spell. If I were the father of this child someone would pay a nasty price indeed.
