or indeed what a waffle was until i asked the wife,apparently we call them woffles (my spelling) but pronounce and spell them the same as you.

A question obviously to start an argument, I have a DSLR which i use 99% of the time i also have a bridge which is useless for anything that is moving and a camera phone which is fine in the house for snap shots, my wife has P&S which she loves but the other day she asked to use my old Sony A200 because of the better pics we went out and she loved it.She is now happy in the fact she can take proper pictures and i ordered a new lens Friday 6th June and it arrived today Saturday the 7th June so we will be taking pics together.

If as you say it is fact then is it also fact canon was the first on the market and as such was bound to build up a large fan base, but what happened when nikon appeared and a great many pros swapped from canon to nikon and nikon also took some of canons sales, then surprise surprise along came Sony and they took even more of the canon fanbase so because they were first it certainly didnt make them the best and the others are catching them up, as for plenty of second hand stuff out there that is because people are changing over to the other two.

Luckily sharp shooter can never be called biased.

Excellent link, It would appear we share three of our grebes with you, the black necked, slavonian and red necked. The grebes that appear to be ours are the greater crested grebe and the little grebe both are breeding regularly near to where i live.

Why do people always want to change something they dont like and make rules for this or that, I am no great lover of photo shop but i dont want it stopped as it is a personal choice,if something comes up on the forum i dont like i skip to the next topic that is better than any rules just ignore them.

You have been told not to use third party because of all the horror stories but nobody who has answered can say it happened to them. I have been using third party since 2009 with no problems at all. I shoot Sony.

The way forward is a Sony, ignore Sharp shooter Canon are behind Sony in inovations as for having 50% of the market,just a sharp shooter joke, as cntry said go to a camera shop and try them all
