i own the 60D and the 7D. I prefer the 60D. It feels better in my hands and I don't see any difference quality wise. I truly love my 60D.
Very pretty. If it were mine, I would get rid of the street light on the left.
Thanks. Wow, there is so much to learn! I will keep trying. I have Christmas photos coming up next! I am going to try to adjust shadows in PP as well. (just in case). I use Lightroom 3. I think it may have to do with adjusting the blacks. Thanks for sharing your time & knowledge.
Thanks everyone. Skidooman, I am using a black umbrella with silver on the inside. I only have one speedlite. I do have some old white lightening lights but I don't know how to use them. What do you mean by flooding the background with light? does it have to sync with my speedlite? I also have another question. My ceilings are not white and the are about 20 feet high. Can I bounce off the ceiling if they are that high and not white?
Thanks. I am 42. Not retired yet! I am a stay at home mom. So, I use the bounce light in addition to my speedlite with umbrella?
Not sure what that is. Sorry, could you explain? You look so familiar. I live in Naples as well. Have you ever taken a class with Peggy?
Happy Halloween! However, I still want to learn something today! How could I have NOT had a shadow? I used a canon 60D 24-70L lens with a 580speedlite, off camera with an umbrella.
I have converted colored images to black & white but have never used black & white setting in camera.
Hi, can somebody tell me what the difference is when changing a colored photo to black in white in post production (i use lightroom) as apposed to using the black & white setting in my camera? (i have a canon 60D and 7D) I know that when doing so in camera it can not be converted to color. I do not shoot in Raw. Thanks.
Hi, your photos are sharp as tacks! Do you use a tripod? I hope someday to be able to get my photos as sharp!
its adorable but I would have gotten rid of the purple flower sticking out from behind the babies head. It is distracting. With a baby as cute as she is, I would want the focus to be only on her! Just my two cents!
Thanks everyone. I want to take a christmas photo of my daughter with white lights in the background with a star light effect. I use Lightroom 3 does anybody know if it can be done with that program?
Hi, I got some advice from a very experienced photographer. He suggested that I use a Star Filter. (i had to google it since I had no clue what it was). Anyway, I have read on this forum more than once not to put cheap glass on top of expensive class. (i use canon L series mostly) Does anyone have any input or photos I could see with one being used? When I google it I saw a few images but nothing very impressive. Also, what is best 4, 6, 8 or 10. To me some looked like a windmill, others looked like starfish. Thanks everyone!!!!
It is beautiful. Peaceful and serene. The only thing i would have removed is the little black spot to the left of the bird. Not sure what it is, maybe another bird? I find it a little distracting, otherwise I would never get tired of looking at it. You should frame it and hang it.
LOVE the Anole! thats awesome!
