Lightroom to Elements for editing

I don't rember where it is but check programs that load when windows boots and disable LR4 you will still be able to use LR4 but would have to click icon

What's the 'step up' from the Canon SX 40 HS in AF cameras?

I would look at the Pentax K5 one of highest rated camers out there and reasonable price + can use every pentax lens ever made

Canon vs Nikon

Hi lori, have you thought about Pantex ? great pictures relitively easy on buget, any pentax lens works from 35mm up thru DSLR so quite a selection and Pentax makes some of the best lens around. no knocking Cannon or Nikon just another option, often times overlooked.

Movie mode

I have never tried it on my Pentax KR but I have a Cannon P&S that does 720 movies and it is great at least on my computer, Clear as a bell. only problem is you have to use Quick time to view them, Windows Media player does not see them as playable
