Hi

I have the use of a Canon 8-15 fisheye lens for a trip to Ireland and I want to do some long exposure photography (to capture the stunning coastline). I know I will have to use the filter holder at the rear of the lens however I want to make sure I can't damage the lens or the camera in doing so. Has anyone used an ND filter in the slot in the back of the Canon 8-15 fisheye lens? Is it really safe to do so?

On another note - any idea where you get the ND filters from? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

I am having a problem with color when sending photos to to the printer from an iMac Retina. I have calibrated the iMac with an x-rite i1|Display Pro. I edit in Lightroom and Photoshop. The photo looks perfect on my iMac screen but yellow colors on the screen turn out dark gold when printed. It makes no difference whether I have the printer or Photoshop manage the colors. I get the same result no matter which printer (Epson or Canon Pixma Pro 10) I send the photo to. I've tried correcting the problem using some of the controls in Canon's Print Shop Pro plugin, but created other problems in the process. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I always shoot in manual mode but no matter what mode the camera is in, no matter whether raw is set to 14 bit or 12 bit lossless; jpeg set to fine or basic, size priority or optimal quality; image size set to large or small, etc. No matter what I do the memory buffer refuses to budge from four. I've switched SD cards - nothing changes. I have read the manual until my brain is stuck on 4. Short of sending the camera off to Nikon, tossing it in the creek, or returning to default settings (which for obvious reasons I'm reluctant to do) is there a Hog out there who has a solution?
