If it had been a Canon 24-70, probably not, but with a Conon 24-79 I am sure your results will be unbelievable!

But remember, the Lens is only part of being a better Photographer, Quality Camera, Plenty of Experience, both Good & Bad, Patience, Time, true Humility ( admitting when you make an error in judgement or common sense.), Friends that may assist you in learning, Professional's that teach you the right way to do things. ETC.!!

It is not the lens but the person behind the camera that has to think about composition, angle of taking the image, what you are trying to say and lighting to take great images.
