My 1Ds Mark lll, and my 1D Mark lll, are 10 years old. Counting inflation in today's money, they would cost around $12.000, for the 1ds and around 6,000, for the 1d's new. There is not a new camera on the market today that I would trade them for. If anything should happen to either of them, I would replace it with the same model.
Honestly, how many of us shoot at 64,000 ISO? After the new wears off,how many of you really take videos? I take pictures and do not need 4k video. I don't care that I cannot send my pictures from my camera to a laptop. I have dual cards that work just fine. My 10 and 20 mega pixel cameras are enough for the size I print. My 1ds shoots 5 frames a second and the 1d shoots 10 fps. I can't imagine the need for anything faster.
I researched for hours upon hours, to find a camera that fits my needs. The 1d bodies are what I came up with. I am not impressed with bells and whistles. I am impressed with results, and my cameras give me just that.

The download is really awesome. (Would recommend a sensor cleaning be done soon on your camera.)

Also, the newer mac os does this automatically. I had the same issue before I upgraded to os 10.11.6

If you choose PS manages color the print settings will automatically default to "colorsync", not "Canon color matching". Click on the drop down box LAYOUT then COLOR MATCHING. You should see colorsync highlighted...

I would like to resuscitate a 15-year-old flatbed scanner - CanoScan 9900F, which would still work just fine on older computers. The most popular old-scanner interface is Vuescan, which tells me I can't do it, because drivers available for my antique are only compatible up to Windows XP or Mac OS 10.6, which is before the Age Of Steam, at this point.
Anybody out there have other workarounds or other information? I hate to add it to the global trash heap. It worked really well, far better than my current requirements.

Living in such a heavily photographed place, and after taken the requisite dozen or so "traditional photos" of local landmarks, I've become interested in trying to capture them either in reflections of other buildings or on the screens of others taking those same obligatory photos I've already shot. Are there any settings to adjust before this in order to bring those reflections to the fore? Is it entirely something that should be enhanced in editing? Both? How?

A polarizing filter will reduce glare on glass and may make the reflected subject more pronounced.
