Have had very good experience using Gel Pen Optical Sensor cleaner. Follow instructions carefully and it works like a charm. Inexpensive, effective and safe is used as directed.

Just returned from a shoot in Iceland. While there felt obligated to my hostess to try one of their national delicacies Fermented Shark. Aside from being seriously opposed to killing sharks, it was THE single most disgusting thing imaginable. Tasted something like rotting meat soaked in ammonia. If you ever have the chance to try it DON'T

Thanks Jerry,
As someone who seldom hits the video button or ventures into video editing, this link is useful. You continue to amaze with the sheer volume of good information you post.

Jerry, Here in Fog City (San Francisco) you can put up a shed of 150 sf or less without a permit provided that: it's 3 or more feet from your property line, has no windows facing a neighbor, is 8' or less in height and has no electricity or water included. Clearly you've found a new niche and are exploiting it very well. Really well composed and captured images. Just the right subtile touch of post processing also.

The problem is with the lens. It's a recognized issue and can only be cured by returning the lens for a free firmware upgrade. Been there, done that with excellent results. It's a superb hunk of glass once you get it upgraded to eliminate that problem.

That problem is the Zeiss Touit 1.8 32mm lens, not the camera body. I had the exact problem and discovered a firmware update for the lens was all that was needed to cure the issue. Sony will upgrade the firmware, for free, but you have to send the lens back to them for the fix.
