Well, Stan, don't we all have 'stuff' sitting on a shelf, no longer being used?
It's too bad we don't have a "trade stuff" section.

Okay, this should be my last lens.
Does anyone have a Canon Fisheye lens, suited for the Canon 5DII body, just sitting on the shelf, looking for a new home?
I think the Canon guy, "hit the nail on the head". Buy used. When I purchased my first Canon 5DII, the price included the L series 24-105 lens. After that, I bought an L series 17-40 wide angle, and a L series 100-400 zoom. Both of those were used. How do you save and not run a risk? Go to your closes camera store. A long time one here in St. Louis, Schillers Camera, is my go-to store. In fact, when I was looking for the 100-400, I told my salesman that I'd like to purchase used, but only a good one. When they received a 'trade in' (which is how most used departments find their "in" stock) he would look for the lens I wanted. He didn't call me on the first one, for he didn't totally trust it. But he called me on the second, since the woman brought it ... still in the new box. I gained on that. And, consider, the store offers an X-day return for full refund (I think X days was ten days), but they also offer a 90 day return for full credit toward something else. I could not loose.
I'm a big fan of Amazon, and a bigger customer than I'd like to admit, but for my camera needs, I will always go to my local store. Look for one near you. And even if you have to drive for an hour or so, it will be worth it.
I've had the pleasure of taking a cruise that took us close the so many beautiful places. I have a 18x36 print of the beautiful mountain range as you show us here.
CindyHouk, you will totally enjoy your visit, and summer time is the best (and only) time to go.

Let me add one more thought: During all of my "film" years, I used exclusively Nikon, their top camera with top Nikor lenses. Then when I switched to digital, I switched to Canon, and now with a top camera and with top lenses.
I believe a high quality image can be captured with either brand.
It was with high hopes of finding a good Canon 5DII body. I had a couple of leads, and this was one of them.
I'm a life long teacher, so patience runs in my veins.
My instinct suggest this is not really a sale on here, but rather a person who wanted PayPal funds sent on a promise to ship a product.
Everyone needs to be extremely careful.
Thank you for your opinion.
Thank you for your opinion. I wish there were a way to help fellow members here from the time wasted by this member, but I don't really want to begin 'slinging mud' on here.
Thank you for your opinion. I've been thinking the same thing.
I've both sold and purchased here from fellow members. Transactions always good. In fact, I've just received a purchase, and the transaction was excellent. In fact, the seller did such an outstanding job in the packing and shipping.
However, I've been 'trying' to make another purchase, from a fellow member here. The communications have been going on for more than two weeks. Unanswered questions, as in 'how do you wish to ship?', and I still can't get an answer.
Have others of you had similar experiences?
I very frequently put a flash on the top of my 5DII. Even in bright sun, people will often have shadows around their eyes. In darken woods, the flash helps there too.
You should try it.
Thank you. I will look it over.
I use Affinity Photo exclusively and love it. My using it on an iMac may be a reason why it runs so smooth.
It is no surprise that Canon needed to "create something new", since I think the 'peak of the mountain' of power was reached with the 5D chain.
