Yes, the slide holder is a single rail. Let me know if you want them. I can send you a PayPal invoice. They were sold a a set and the original instructions are included.
I may have identified the bellows incorrectly. The box is marked Bellows Focusing attachment Model II.
I have 2 of these. I use 1 from time to time but really don't need the second They are a PB-6 and a PS-5 (I think!) Pictures are attached. They are both very clean and have been kept in the original boxes, which are included. The instructions for the PB-6 are also included I am asking $150 for both including Priority mail shipping. Feel free to make a reasonable offer.
I live in the great PNW, near Olympia. Sept. can be a fairly dry month, and could offer good opportunities. Fog and storms are uncommon then for the most part. October can be pretty drab and dreary. Our storms can produce nice waves and winds. It will likely be pretty wet from mid Nov. to mid March. Do you have a destination in mind?
For static subjects I usually grab my Micro Nikkor 55. It is only an f 3.5, but alone it will focus at 1/2 life size, and with the PK 13 it will focus at 1:1. For "living" subjects (bugs flowers etc) I usually use a 135mm. Use what works for you. and I agree that "better glass" matters more here than in most situations.
I just purchased one on Ebay for $65. It is described as being 'excellent'. We'll see when it get here! Thanks for all the help.
The Nikon Df will allow an ISO of 50
Thanks for all the quick replies! Yes, the lens will work fine on the Df. You simply "raise" the coupling lever out of the way, and use the lens as it was intended. It was the Automatic Indexing feature I was interested in.
One of the advertised features of the Df is that every single f mount lens Nikon ever made will work on the camera. The claim appears to be true. All my other 'legacy' lenses work perfectly!
This is my first post. Let me know if I should be doing it differently.
Does anyone here have experience converting non AI to Ai lenses? I just bought a Df (to replace a 3100 that I really didn't like much) and so far I am THRILLED with it. I was drawn to it because I can use ALL my old lenses.
And no, I don't mind focusing myself. I've been doing it for almost 50 years, and I would rather choose the focus point myself. Auto focus is fine in situations where I don't have time, but manual is great!
Anyway, I have a NIKKOR-Q Auto 135mm F2.8 Lens I might want to convert to AI. I works fine, but of course it doesn't meter.
Thanks in advance
