Yup. You are a true Trump cultist, proving yet again that love is truly blind...

Yea, keep justifying and defending every single depraved misogynist and juvenile act of your Orange man-baby at all costs, including to your own self-respect. LOL!

Yes...how does name-calling work for you. Is it even possible to have any kind of meaningful dialogue about this? Or are you just going to see if you can make me angry enough to lower myself to your level.

I have an opinion. This is a forum. I have every right to express my views as you do. Deal with it.

Her true colors? You mean, the way she revealed that she can occasionally act like a courageous journalist asking tough questions of the powerful?

Yea, how dare she? She should have known that Trump's rabid cultish supporters won't put up with any of that crap.

No....I mean the smirk on her face as she asked him biased questions. The other candidates had lots of baggage she could have asked them about, too, but nope - she only had darts coming from her eyes for Trump. Her smirk said it all - she thought there was no way this guy would win - which made her look very foolish when he did win, and her boss (Murdoch) does not like being made a fool of. She should have kept her opinions to herself and done what a "real" journalist should do and look at both sides. Unfortunately the MSM journalists today don't even know what the meaning of "journalist" is...and it spoke loud and clear during this election.

Megyn's leaving will boost Foxs' ratings. Her true colors showed at the Trump debate, and Fox has been trying to cover it up since. Good riddance, Megyn. Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.....

Doesn't surprise me in the least, given that today's GOP is the most corrupt and despicable as the party has ever been. Their purpose for existence is to pursue the interests of their paymasters, not "we, the people." Pushing through the Koch-ALEC legislation necessary to completely dismantle America is their mission and anything that gets in the way of that, such as a robust independent ethics oversight authority, needs to be swept out of the way. We can look forward to the next several years as being perhaps the most shamefully corrupt and kleptocratic era in our nation's history.
Doesn't surprise me in the least, given that today... (show quote)

Except that the only thing they ever "investigated" was the ethics of the Republican party. Their own party was "exempt" from the rules of law. Keep in mind that this committee was put in place in 2008. Hmmmmmm.....who was elected President that year? It's so obvious it's sickening.

hillary won the popular vote by 2+ million votes. About 1.5 million from 2 cities-- L.A. an San Fran. A question---Would you want the election decided by only 2 cities from 1 state ? That is exactly what the constitution was designed to prevent.

Well....my opinon is that Hillary won nothing, since the popular vote does not exist. I live in NY and when I registered to vote (I had to re-register because I moved and changed counties) no one asked me for any ID whatsoever. I filled out a form, and then when I went to vote, all they did was check that my name and address that was on the registration was the same one that was in the voting book. I signed my name and voted. Now, I could have done this several more times in several different counties. All I had to do was fill out the registration form in a different county with a different name and address - easy to do, since no one checks ID's here. As long as the name and address was the same on the registration form and the voter book, I would have been allowed to vote. I also could have voted if I were not a US citizen, since there's no ID check for that either. There are around 20 states besides NY (including CA) that do not require any voter ID at all - And THAT is why Hillary had so many more ballots counted.

Nope. The Affordable Care Act was totally unaffordable for us. We actually went two years without any health insurance because everything was cheaper that way. We found a doctor that charged what we could afford, and the Walmart Pharmacy has been very good to us. I pay $2.59 for a month's supply of blood pressure medicine. We finally reached age 65 and are now on Medicare which is subsidized by the hospital here where we live.

It is a scam. I once clicked on it and it brought a bunch of adware and malware. I had to scan my computer to get rid of them (malwarebyte program works great for this).

Interesting POV but your calculation of Medicare premium payments is probably low. I don't know how many of the 120M payees pay less than you per month but I think its probable that a good number of them pay much more than the $108.

It was increased to $121.80 in 2016. Those that already had Medicare in 2016 were grandfathered to the $108, but those who signed up in 2016 (me) had to pay the higher amt.

ETA: Of course it depends on your income bracket, but most Americans in retirement make less than $85,000.

For example many readers thought it quite normal that the story was reporting Duck Donald was walking on water, their gullibility being so high. They also believe the man with a permanent bad hair day saved 1000's of job in Indianapolis, right?"

cyclespeed apparently lacks a sense of humor. Either that or their sour grapes are getting in the way of seeing the lighter side of life.
