Nobel laureate Ivar Giaever's speech at the Nobel Laureates meeting 1st July 2015.

So all the countries in the world agree that C02 is causing climate change? Really?
There are liars, Damn liars...and then there are statisticians.

What caused t before man existed and what will cause it when we are no longer here? Are we contributing, yes but how much?

It's not CO2. Carbon tax and all the things the government is doing related to CO2 is a waste.
CO2 may very well prove to be an overall benefit. We know it benefits plant life. Which gives us more oxygen.
CO2 at 10 times the level that we are at is not harmful to humans.
You can actually live in a greenhouse that has C02 injected and it won't harm you.
SO if it doesn't harm humans and it doesn't cause an increase in temperature(No evidence)
Why the Tax and Tax credit for removing it?
Climate change is probably mostly natural but the jury is still out.
Climate change for atmosphere has been steady for 20 years. Nasa uses Ocean temperature to calculate Global temperature change.
Climate has always changed. It changes every year. What you are really asking is why is the global temperature increasing in the Oceans.
I read the NASA study(website) that shows Ocean temperature change increase. What they don't tell you that global climate change which is temperature change includes the ocean.
Maybe now the whole idea can be depoliticized.
I have no problem with the studies continuing. It's the plan of action that is a joke.
Seems to me to be more of an agenda based policy than a scientific based policy.
I do believe that is changing. More critics and skeptics are questioning the data. The hypothesis.
For years the Physicist thought that the universe expansion was slowing down. (Red Shift) and that it would eventually come back together.
They eventually realized that the expansion of the universe is increasing not decreasing.
That paradigm shift is happening in climatology as we speak. More scientist are speaking out.

Always did feel it was natural phenomena. Glacier lake explains it to me.

Its a good thing man wasn't around 10,000 year ago when Glaciers extended as far south as Cape Girardeau.
When you approach Cape Girardeau from the south on I-65 from the south you will come across a giant Hump in the interstate.
That hump was caused by Glaciers pushing and then retracting. "We've come along way baby to get where we've got to today"
The planet has been changing for as long as we can imagine. I sure hope we don't have another sun wobble that causes us to ice up again.
We may have to institute a Carbon emissions tax credit.
If we can just get another degree out of the planet the Nile river might become an oasis again.
Oh...Those unintended consequences of government policy.
Looks like the climate has been making a little more Real Estate.
I might take a trip and do some fishing at Glacier Lake. I always wanted to visit there...just been to cold lately.

I flew over it about seven years ago. Awesome just plain awsome to see it and surrounding area, from the air. I circled it twice. I highly recommend an aerial view of it.

No that was just right before I got a camera. Bummer it worth the $125 or that what most guys charge around here for an hr.

I was on vacation to Vancouver.

Thinking of flying to Oregon and then hitting Idaho and Montana with a rental car.
Thanks again $125 sound like a must do.

If you really want to know about Global warming the second video in the title above is excellent.
A plethora of scientist explain.
Excerpts.
"There is a correlation between C02 and earth temperature. As the temperature rises C02 Rises. Earth temperature rise has led C02 rising for all recorded history by 800 years." C02 does not effect temperature. Temperature increases causes C02 to increase"

"Climate is controlled by clouds. Clouds are controlled by cosmic rays. the cosmic rays are controlled by the solar winds. The solar winds are controlled by the sun"
"The sun is driving climate change CO2 is irrelevant."

I really learned something here.
Why the planet is heating up is the sun....Go figure... Maybe if we all just put on some sun screen.....

Well from my understanding CO2 is greatly caused by organic decomposition. Heat increases that rate of decomposition.

Probably, maybe why C02 increases have lagged termperature increases by 800 years over millions of years. Nothing you can do about that now.
maybe if you can redirect the solar wind in about 5000 years...
Temperature will likely start decreasing at some time however, C02 will still increase for 800 years. Good thing is that Life will not be affected even after the 800 years.
C02 could be increased 100 fold and still not affect our breathing...and things will likely get a lot greener.

One of the things I did not know is how cosmic rays create clouds. You would think that would be caused directly by the evaporation from the sun. That was interesting.
From a cause and effect scenario it really doesn't matter, however it is interesting.

Another interesting point is that water vapor is the greatest greenhouse gas. I think they said it causes 95 percent of heat retention. CO2 makes up only .05 percent.

By not being a pollutant, rising atmospheric CO2 concentrations will never directly harm human health, but will indirectly benefit humans in a number of ways. Chief among these benefits is global food security.more green things growing because of CO2 means more Oxygen for us bad Humans.
