my macbook pro 2010 was giving me tons of problem, freeze and beeps all the time, I think the graphic chip is what cause all this problem. I am thinking to replace it with mac mini.
Right now all my photos and catalog are on the 500g 2.5" external drive that only 1/2 used.
any suggestion of what config is good for it. I don't have a open check book. As long as the speed is reasonable this is all I need.
I have the 24" dell 1920x1200 monitor, apple keyboard and wacom old tablet already.
How to use mac mini with skype, can I use webcam from PC?
can I use the cellphone mic and ear plug on the audio input output?
is that the good time to buy now, I heard someone said it is about time for next release.
any suggestion welcome.

I'm using LR5 on a late 2012 Mac Mini and a 24" Dell monitor shown below and it runs great.

There were accommodations for about 4 or 5 guest couples. Usually, owners or upper mgmt. from the ships customers. They would travel for one week.

Real nice shots. I live in Michigan on Lake St. Clair and most of the photos I take are of the freighters traveling up and down the St. Clair River. I've been on the Valley Camp Museum in Sault Ste Marie, MI and one of these days I want to get up to Duluth.

Hey! I'm a new user. I'm an avid photographer looking to really expand my creative possibilities. But I'm very new to some of the items that I need to know.

I noticed on the forum that people were having some problems with Nikon files on the pay per month Photoshop CC.

Are there any issues with Nikon D7100 files and Photoshop CC?

I'm about to purchase a set of tutorials on creativeLive online on the Photoshop, but I just wanted to make sure that before I purchase the classes and purchase the monthly Photoshop CC, that I won't have any conflicting issues with my current camera which is the Nikon D7100.

Thank you so much! Anxious to get some responses!

I've had my D7100 for a week and I love it. Getting more familiar with it each day. I have two other Nikons, a D5100 and my trusty old D200. I have room in my bag for two cameras with lenses, so I put the D200 into semi-retirement. I really like that D200 and wonder if I should put it in the bag next to the D7100 instead of the D5100. What would you do? No, I'm not buying a three camera bag.

And how does this relate to photography? Isn't this a photography forum? Or a place to expose yourself?

Saw this one motoring through the Lion's gate to Vancouver BC. If the number on the life ring is the age, she dates back to 1911. Appears to be in pristine condition.

Now that's my kind of boat. The only thing that would make it nicer is if it was docked in my canal behind the house.

An old guy goes to his doctor for his physical and gets sent to the Urologist as a precaution.

When he gets there, he discovers the Urologist is a very pretty female doctor.

The female doctor says,"I'm going to check your prostate today, but this new procedure is a little different from what you are probably used to.

I want you to lie on your right side, bend your knees, then while I check your prostate, take a deep breath and say,
'99'.

The old guy obeys and says, "99".

The doctor says, "Great", now turn over on your left side and again, while I repeat the check, take a deep breath and say, '99".
Again, the old guy says, '99'."

The doctor said, “Very good”.

Now then, I want you to lie on your back with your knees raised slightly.

I'm going to check your prostate with this hand, and with the other hand I'm going to hold on to your penis to keep it out of the way.

Now take a deep breath and say, '99'.

The old guy begins,
"One....
two…
three…"

My hometown has a festival the last weekend in September every year called Oktemberfest. This has been going for some 25 years or so. Full disclosure statement: my wife used to be the director of the parade and I helped out with directing some of the entries to their assigned start point and controlling traffic. We haven't done anything with it in the last 4-5 years though. Here are some highlights from this years parade.

Nice photos. Small town parades like this are the best.

Back home now safe and sound thank you very much. We had a really wonderful time and enjoyed it so much, appreciate your comments....thank you.

You sound as though you have quite a selection of bikes, do you ride them all?

:D

All except one are always ready for a ride. My first bike is a little 1964 Yamaha that has been retired for many years and is now on display in my living room. My dad was a long time motorcyclist and still rode until he was about 80 so I still have a ways to go to catch up with him. Of all my bikes over the years, the European ones are my favorites with the Triumphs on the top of that list.

We went to the Hotel Paris this evening to see The Jersey Boys in a show, excellent.

I would just like to convey my very many thanks to my friends who have followed us around on this trip, thoroughly enjoyed all your comments.

My last pic is to say 'Goodbye America' you have made this a wonderful holiday.

So glad you had a great time in the States. Have a safe trip home and come back again someday.
