I've had my Nikon D5600 for 3 days, and snapped the shutter perhaps 60 times. Yet this photo, taken with less than 10 seconds to set up is one my best ever. it took an open garage door for the dark background, a zinnia that bloomed yesterday, and a very cooperative monarch, and a camera left in the 'A' mode to make it happen.
It's the serendipity that keeps me clicking.
Nice. Half my pics are birds, squirrels and rabbits in the yard. You've give me an idea - I have a granite rock, too large to haul away, but it would make a perfect perch for my wild subjects.
