When I see an old house like this I think what stories this house could tell.

That deer is way too short. He must have used a ladder to post that sign.

I think the squirrels helped him...

It is deer season in Missouri and my daughter was near Springfield this weekend having my granddaughter's Senior Pictures taken. Everyone is posting their bloody deer they have shot. She took this photo with her iPhone and I thought it was so cool and wanted to share it.

Regis, can you give me permission to share these beautiful eagle pictures on my facebook page? With you getting the credit of course. They are so beautiful. If not, that is fine too. I really enjoy your pictures. And hand held? That is amazing. Great job.

What settings did you use?

I have a Nikon D5600. I just use it on sports setting and automatic. Not smart enough to get into the good settings yet.

Hi, Grannysweet. I've been enjoying your photo posts for some time but I just saw where you are from. My Dad was born in Sikeston Missouri. Do you know any Morgans, people not horses, from the area?

There are several Morgans around Sikeston. I don't think I know any personally but I know they are here.

Anyone have any tissue or decongestant??? I have no idea what this squirrel has on his face but think it may be a curled up dry leaf. He was like this when we pulled into our driveway. It fell off when he jumped down but was a funny sight. Not clear but I had to hurry before he jumped...lol

Nice job. I get an occasional raccoon in my back yard--they like to eat the cat food I put out. The cats and 'coons seem to get along fairly well. Raccoons are dangerous, though--they carry Rabies and have very large claws.

I would never get that close to a raccoon, but my ancestors and probably even now, hunted them down in Arkansas for eating or pelts. I have an old list of what hides went for way back then that was in my parents papers and one item I was amazed at is the price paid for a house cat hide was 25 cents.

A few photos of a little raccoon and an eagle we came across at one of our favorite hanging out places.

I decided to try and get a photo of a dragonfly in flight. Out of many many snaps I got a kind of decent one surprisingly...
