This is for real. The remote for my Tivo wasn't working well, so I put in new batteries. No improvement. Being desperate to watch TV, I tried using it upside down. It works fine upside down. My first thought was it was a battery connection problem. I removed the back and held the batteries in place. No change. I tried moving them a bit. No change. Holding it right side up, it seldom works, but upside down, it works like new.

I think I'll have to take a picture of the remote, flip it right to left, and glue it onto the back of the remote.

What...you mean Hydroxychloraquine is NOT a very promising cure? But, we were under the impression that we had “nothing to lose!” No, the stuff might kill you! Wow, never saw that coming!
I was just getting ready to inject some Clorox when I heard that it was, at least, possible that it might not work, either. I don’t know now, what to do. The Doctors and Scientists say one thing, but then the President says another! Whom shall I believe?
Someone said he was just being sarcastic when he said that; I don’t know, he looked pretty serious when he said it. Should I not be taking him seriously when he speaks? He is my President; of course, everything he says is true. He would never make up stuff! I cannot believe that...he is our President! I also heard he made similar suggestions to the groups he has that give him advice. Surely, they would have felt obligated to tell him in no uncertain terms if they didn’t agree, would they not? I heard this happened twice. I think I will try it after all. He had to be telling the truth. By the way, why would they not allow him to answer questions yesterday. He could have cleared all of this up!

Hey that's funny but completely true and it's even worse with the stay-at-home lifestyle we now suffer. Being retired already gave my wife and I a taste of this issue we still had day-dependent routines such as babysitting for my granddaughter, Mondays and Wednesdays, and Friday's food shopping that required us to keep track of which day it was. Not now...

The other problem is that when "every day's a Saturday" you have no problem letting the start of a project slide to the next day. Thing is, "there's always tomorrow" can morph into "so why bother, today?" letting a project languish, indefinitely. It actually takes a fair amount of self-discipline and self-motivation to keep productive, in the retired/COVID environment. Or maybe that's just me!
