Olympus reported to be # 1 in mirrorless camera sales in Japan for the month of feb. I know, most could care less, but It is something of some interest.

Probably because they just introduced a new model.
Women have smaller hands, so Olympus must be going great with them....
Several women in my club shoot Olympus. I myself shoot a MFT camera, a Panasonic G9, but it’s really no smaller than my full frame Nikon Z7, both are smaller than my Nikon D500 and D7200.
Just the word 'orientals' is considered in poor taste these days, as is lumping a whole group into one false generalization.
Poor taste by whom... people that don't want to face reality. How many times have we heard on this forum that the M43 size camera is too small for larger hands. ORIENTALS are smaller in stature and have smaller hands... so nat. They would opt for a smaller camera. And yes, I said Orientals just as I would say Europeans or middle easterners.

Don't distort this as being racist but orientals have smaller hands and maybe are drawn to a smaller footprint. Just being realistic...
It is not being a racist to note that sometimes larger hands have a harder time with smaller cameras. But the size of the camera I feel was brought on by people wanting smaller and lighter cameras, not necessarily because orientals having smaller hands. And you could be right that one of the lessor reasons was to produce a smaller environmental footprint.
