My apologies but this is the second time something like this has happened. I can't go back now and find it at all but it was in the Main Discussion Forum, I checked and double checked.

If you have a preview window, zoom in after or while you are focusing to see if you are really in focus.

My solution is to make littering a felony. Mandatory jail sentence when caught. You can spend the time on weekends IF you have a job. You wouldn't have to worry about penalizing the poor with large fines. Bread and water while their in there and mandatory lime green jello!

Unfortunately, it isn’t just around Newark. We are living in a time of total disregard for the courtesy and respect of others. Drive anywhere and see how many drivers have a “Me first and the hell with you!” attitude. The values of the greatest generation have gone the way of the dinosaur. The privileged brats we raised are now running and ruining this country. Very sad.

Unfortunately, a majority of the blame should go to the parent that raised kids to be that way. A total disregard for their environment and surroundings. And on a different subject, exactly when did it become acceptable to wear a hat indoors? Especially backwards. Again, blame it on the parents as I see grown men my age sitting in restaurants eating with a hat on. Next thing you know they will be wearing them in church.

I am sure you know what you are talking about. I have only been in the insurance industry for 45 years but I think I have picked up a thing or two during that time. The majority of the insurance companies, the really big ones that were around when I started, only a couple are still around today. Since there is no deterrent to filing a frivolous claim, a typical lawsuit will be settled for what it would take to go to court and defend it. In other words, even if an insurance company is not liable, they will pay off the plaintiff rather than go to court. Mainly because in this day and age and people's attitude toward insurance companies, even when the insurance company is right it doesn't guarantee a jury won't rule against them which could result in a bad faith claim that could then turn into millions. So it has become common procedure to just pay out the claimant and live to fight again. And in the end, we all pay...and considerably more than 50 cents.

Can you please point out to me where it states that State Farm directed the repair shop to glue the top on instead of welding it? I must have missed that. Let me tell you a more likely scenario.
The body shop took the cheap way our and did it on their own. The actual award while $42MM?, what they received was more likely 1 to 5 million. Your typical body repair shop is more likely to carry a $1 to 5 million limit. So at the most they were granted $5 million of which their attorney received 33% or $1.5MM. With this award in hand, the attorney will continue to go after State Farm and Honda. Honda is clearly out of it since they recommended welding. That leaves State Farm. I cant imagine they would be that involved in dictating the method of the repair. I just don't see the substantial savings there with gluing versus welding. So in the end this may be all they get. The purpose of these large rewards or "Punitive damage" award is to punish the wrong doer. That entity appears to be the repair shop. While it is extremely unfortunate the people were injured so horrifically how does a $42 million reward help all of us? Our insurance rates will go up. WE will pay for this not the insurance company, not Honda not even the repair facility. As to the award, where is the logic in $42MM? How much is enough? Do you really think that awarding the injured people large sums of money will make it safer for us in the future. Is it based on actual damages or the conscience of the jury who sees the poor injured people and an insurance company with a big pocket filled by people like you and me.

The plaintiff award system in this country only benefits the attorneys, punishes the public and does little to "fix" the problem.

I suspect it was the "Gay" issue. BTW, yes women are involved in Cub Scouts for that reason, at the time that is just what they are, young cubs. It is a transitional period for them and as I recall my wife and I went on every camping trip with them. So while the mother's were involved the Father's were there along with them and I attended all of the Cub Scout meetings to lend a hand with the heavy lifting.

I was a scout master and teacher while my son was in the scouts. With the recent changes, I am done with them. We have gone to a country of majority rules to minority rules. If a few people aren't happy then we should change everything to make them so. There is a movement out there to liberalize and diminish everything that is not politically correct in the minds of the liberal left.
No apologies to you if you are one.

That's what everyone things but the little cameras on those things see people like ants from way up in the sky. They don't have super telephoto cameras and lenses on them like the new helicopters do. They simply take landscape pictures and/or videos of the landscape.

Now if you see one hovering in front of your window, THEN you have a problem.

Check this out and it is only a matter of time until the price comes down. I recently saw a drone that could carry a full size Canon DLSR.
