You did a nice job, this is something I need to . Watched the vid and it is a bit daunting but I’m gonna give it a go as soon as time allows.
Thanks for posting.

I actually watched the video on my iPad, while doing the work on the computer, this allowed me to pause or back up and try again. My second attempt I caught myself trying to skip ahead of the video, and it was easy to forget steps. I agree quite daunting, but something I will use in the future, as there is always that blown out overexposed sky that just doesn’t fit in with what I wanted out of the photo.

I watched this youtube video, from Rick Peterson showing how to place clouds behind trees. My first attempt is shown below, using a picture of trees I took in northern Michigan (Roscommon), and clouds from a picture my son took in Denver last year. I am pretty sure I will have to practice the procedure quite a few times to commit it to memory, but was pretty impressed as to how it was done in the video.

Someone posted this link a few days ago to check shutter count, just by uploading the latest picture to the linked page. Worked great on my D5500, and the D5300 is listed as working also.

Sorry I can't remember who posted the link and give them credit for it, but the link is here:

Actually it appears it may be a Gray Morph, a variant of the Gray Squirrel. From what I can see, the eyes are not red. They don't usually live that long, as they stand out like a sore thumb to predators. They just started showing up in our neighborhood a couple years ago (Michigan).

Looks almost like a composite photo, two totally different cats.

Guess that’s the difference between being seen as a citizen, or a subject of the state...

I might be misunderstanding the original question, but i would be hesitant to put a steel cord around my neck to prevent someone from stealing my camera. That could be quite painful, or worse.

Is it possible that your healing brush is larger than the view-able image? Try downsizing your brush size when the healing brush is active.

The photographer lists it as a Canon 1DX MK2. The remote appears to be a 1Dx as per the photographer.
