I don't know if this is a grey market lens, but if you expand the product description on Walmart's website and look at the summery specifications at the bottom, you will notice that they claim the 70-300mm DX lens gives the equivalent of a 105mm-450mm lens on a DX camera. Does that make sense to anyone?

It doesn't matter if they are a DX or FX lens. You ALWAYS multiply (by 1.5 on Nikon) for the effective mm for a crop factor camera.

"Curves" is the subject for an international calendar for 2018 and I have been asked by my MD friend of the subsidiary in Australia to submit photographs of curves. Every country subsidiary has been invited to submit their photographs. Any ideas? Appreciate any thoughts/suggestions. I am struggling to do something other then the usual roads, Pathways, Rivers, Architecture. I use a 5DMkIV, have a 100mm Macro, 15-35mm Ultra Wide, 24-70mm & 70-100mm Telephoto and a couple of primes 50 and 35mm. Not restricted by gear but more by creativeness!

Yea, take ya a couple big boxes of fishing worms, clean 'em up, then divide them up into different food colors . After they soak up the color use them to write out the word "Curves" and photograph them before they crawl off. I can guarantee you that no one else will come up with that idea.

Yeah, I think I made a mistake. I read so many reviews about so many lenses, that I might have ordered the wrong lens. Oh, well. Amazon has easy returns. If only Sony was like Nikon - all lenses fit all DSLRs.

lol! On one of my first big lens purchases I studied and compared them for days before finally pressing the button for a big tamron 150-600 on Amazon. My excitement faded quickly when it arrived and the Canon mount would not align properly on my Nikon!

Google free bee removal. We need pollinators!! Cool shots. Gary

They will have a good home. My neighbor wants to keep them. He needs another hobby. I wouldn't mind having them either if it wasn't for the initial cost of the hive and equipment. They seem like good bees too, very calm. I can stand 2 - 4 feet from their hive only a couple would even buzz me at a distance.

Please, do not vacuum the bees up.
The world is desperately short of bees.
Find a bee-keeper they will be glad to remove them.

Vacuuming bees is one way to collect and move the bees. Bees are vacuumed up into a collector with a large shop vac attached. Then the comb is fit into a hive and the bees have a new home.

That appears to be a fairly established hive. I would say his meter has not been read in a while.
He may check around to see if a local bee keeper would be interested in collecting the hive.
Honey bees are needed in the agricultural world and the use of pesticides is killing them off.

He built on two lots and has 2 water meters but only one is active. Yes, he is checking. A beekeeper can collect the queen put her in a small box and the majority will swarm around her.

My neighbor has a beehive in the ground inside his water meter enclosure. He called someone and he was complaining about how much they charge so I suggested that he simply take his big Wet or Dry vacuum out their and suck the bees up. So, if he goes for this do you think photos or a video would be better?

You can see the honey and the bee larva better when viewed full size.
