You are welcome! I would love to learn how to do this!
I like your site. Thank you for sharing.
According to the park service, the Foothills Parkway and the tower at Clingman's Dome are closed.
I agree with ecblackiii 100% - anyone with diabetes, even Type 2, should see a medical specialist (Opthamalogist) at least yearly.
I have Type 2 diabetes and see an Opthamalogist (medical doctor and surgeon) who treats eye diseases. I go yearly for a diabetic eye exam. Mine found evidence there was a tiny bleed in an eye with previous laser surgery. He actually took a picture of it. The opthamalogist visits are covered by my medical insurance since I have the diabetes diagnosis.
Mingo Falls is a stairway up to the top, not difficult and fairly quick with no hiking. It's very nice. Cades Cove I would be waiting at the gate when they open in early am or take your chances in the evening. It's not always open to vehicle traffics so check the days on that. Its cold and often foggy on Clingman's Dome but you can get some nice pics there. Laurel Falls trail if I remember correctly, is paved and worth the walk.
Cades Cove is best for wildlife in early am when it first opens, and in the evening. Expect it to be busy.
Focus lock off on my D800 and D500 for BIF (birds in flight)
Haha, OK, Larry! I've only had it two weeks. Don't have my drive with me but can post pics later.
I just purchased the Sigma 150-600mm Sport lens, and paired with the Nikon D800, it is a phenomenal combo for outdoor wildlife!
I have been playing piano since age 6, woodwinds since age 9, studied music education (instrumental) in college, taught piano, and write poetry and short stories.
An arbor, gazebo or park bench. I like using seascapes also but I live close to the ocean. Distant mountaintops and a meadow..a sunbeam shining through trees or a church steeple if the person was spiritual.
