Through the windows on another dull and damp autumn day
Cold wet day so its Football on TV and the camera out the dining room window :) The cardinal came to the suet feeder
It felt good picking up the camera again today.
The last young eagle on the nest across the lake has been alone on the nest for over two weeks. His two siblings fledged over two weeks ago. The adults would come and feed him. Today I saw the adult coaxing him and he would try to get up on a stick and fall back into the nest. This was taken just before he fledged after a few tries. He flew off the nest like a natural and soared over the nest beautifully while mom or dad watched and encouraged him. Wonderful to watch.
This was taken with the FZ80 Bridge camera at full optical and digital zoom (4800mm equivalent) in over 30 degree heat so not the best quality with the distance, digital zoom, and heat haze.
No artistic mods to the water, those were the reflections as seen this morning.
Quick shot through the window with the FZ80.
The man knows what he enjoys.....
Nice looking red bellied woody
Nice series, love the little guy peeking around the feeder
