The 60 mm macro is outstanding. If you take macro pictures you might wonder how you got along without ti.

Great shot. When I see shots like that I just keep thinking "boards, boards, what I could have done with them when I had my shop"

We used to have old barns like this when I was a kid in the early 50s. The boards were walnut. Some were torn down and used for firewood. Oh how I wish I had been the one to tear down the barns.

Research Gene51 earlier tripod answers. I wish I had before I boucht mine. I then Purchased a 2 different tripods at his recomendations. They were around $500 - $700 apiece. They were worth it. It is handling vibration instead of weight.

It may sound unreasonable, but I went from a Nikon F500 and lenses to Olympus OM D cameras, now OMD E M1 III. I was very pleased with the Nikons macro lenses and photographs. I did it for probably the wrong reason. It was because the Olympus cameras felt so good, a part of my body, and almost like a glove in my Hands. I still have the Nikon D500 and a number lenses. I haven't used my Nikon for several years.

I did a Sicily tour with an Olympus OM D M10 Mark ii and a 14-42 pancake lens. I also waisted carrying the 150-400 because I never used it. I carried it on a small belt clip. I had both hands free and security. If you don't have a dislike of 4/3, it is perfect.

I upgraded to the MD E MI Mark II and III and other lenses. (I also have Nikon F100 and equipment).I gave my Olympus M 10 to my granddaughter. At times I miss it.

Though I no longer have one, I thought the Olympus OM-D line was awesome. High quality of build, reasonable new and used prices, good variety of lenses from which to choose, decent amount of pixels and a sensor of a larger size than the pocket cameras offer. Very reliable cameras you can count on to finish the trip.
