Yes, the whole family was taking care of them. It is nice to see that. They were so cute and they tend their little organic garden together. It was such a privilege to work with them.

Thank you for posting your photo of the couple you met. Like the couple you photographed they were deeply devoted to each other. Thank you so so much! That is so nice of you to say that. It took a little to work with them...I don't speak Vietnamese and language barriers are sometimes a problem. I work in South East Asia a lot and run up against this. We had an interpreter which helps but poses problems in itself. This couple was so cute. He was kind of stiff but after spending time with them he got more relaxed..she never stopped smiling! Thank you again for such nice compliments.

I was just in Vietnam for several weeks with another photographer working on a project. I had the privilege of photographing this wonderful couple. They are both in their mid 90's.
