I was just in Vietnam for several weeks with another photographer working on a project. I had the privilege of photographing this wonderful couple. They are both in their mid 90's.

1dane805, the elderly couple touch ones heart as it can be seen upon both their faces that they are happy when together and how dearly they love one another. Additionally, you did a splendid job capturing their moods, their love, and the pride they share when others see them together.
When I look at this photo, I can appreciate how you had chosen a lens aperture that allowed the leaves on the tree in the background to be somewhat sharply in focus verses an aperture that many others would had chosen whereby the leaves would had been blurred. Sometimes, a photo calls for the immediate background to be in focus and this photo was one of them. Best said, your capture is one great story telling photograph and thanks a million for sharing it with us !!!!
Enjoy your day and Best Regards,

Thank you so so much! That is so nice of you to say that. It took a little to work with them...I don't speak Vietnamese and language barriers are sometimes a problem. I work in South East Asia a lot and run up against this. We had an interpreter which helps but poses problems in itself. This couple was so cute. He was kind of stiff but after spending time with them he got more relaxed..she never stopped smiling! Thank you again for such nice compliments.
