George. This Sunday from 11:00 am to 6:00 PM there will be an arts and Crafts show in Chatsworth along Devonsire Blvd, between Topanga Canyon and Owensmouth. About 30 artists, 3 bands and a "Taste of Chatsworth". Would be a good time to stop by and meet some of the local artists. I'll be exhibiting. Hope to see you and the family. We can talk shop a little. Ted Herman
Welcome from Chatsworth, SFV. I have the Sony A7 II and love it. Still learning all it's potential. I photograph mostly dancers and scenic and just returned from a trip to Lake Tahoe, Bodie, Mono Lake and Mammoth. Feel free to contact me. Ted Herman
Today, paved for 10 miles, gravel for 3 miles.. much nicer trip now.
Just visited there this past week. 13 miles East of highway 395. 10 miles paved, 3 miles gravel road in reasonable good condition. Great photo opportunities. Self guided, but some guided tours can be reserved, otherwise can't get into the buildings. Check ahead of time. Enjoy.
Had the surgery also with 10 days between eyes. I removed the lens for the new eye and was able to see OK. However, for some reason or another, I was sometimes seeing in 3-D, especially watching TV. Can anyone explain??
Los Angeles currently $2.69 for regular. (Includes Federal, California fuel taxes and 9% sales tax)
Have been using 4 x 6 and 8.5 x 11 Kirkland paper in my Canon Pro100 for most of my printing and getting very good results. I print all my photos from Photoshop CC and as with other papers I have used, get slightly different results between printer selecting photo or Photoshop selecting photo. I believe it is the same paper Costco uses in their processing. For 13 x 19, I use Canon paper.
When I print for selling photos at higher prices, I use a higher quality archival paper
Sorry... Subject should read "Diving Giraffes"
Great animation.....Enjoy the video

Bought the Pixma Pro 100. I received the Rebate card for $200 in 16 days from my mailing the request. Couldn't ask for any better service.
Bought the Pixma Pro 100 about 45 days ago. Rebate card for $200 received in 16 days from my mailing the request. Now using the card to to help with a new lens. Easy come, easy go.
Great series. In aviation, the pelicans would be the bomber planes and the seagulls the fighter planes. Something about certain birds and the formations they form while flying. Love watching geese in flight.
Thanks for liking the photos.
I know it's far from the ocean but the birds are actually Eastern Sierra seagulls. The Owens river and the aqueduct that brings water from the Mammoth Lakes area to Los Angeles provides great fishing for anglers and sources of food for the gulls. I go there fishing twice a year and look forward to the show in the sky.
