I'm from a cold snowy climate and looks like lots of snow for Easter.......I take more photos from my porch.
I have years of photos. I love looking at them on my computer.
I cull all the photos I took for the year and archive those that I feel are worth it..... I make books, print on canvas/gifts and resize the best ones for desktop wallpaper/Facebook/My Photo Forum/Blogs..etc. I have a nice set of coffee mugs!
I also have a small studio in my basement. I do Macro and still life photos.
If I can't shoot, I play with my photos.

Well, I had to format and reinstall Windows 10 and update to Creator Fall Update to get my Printer to install the drivers. It's rather radical, but it worked. ;) Good luck.

Windows 10 does not have a default DVD/Blueray player. You have to download and install one. It's probably the main reason your DVD player is not recognized. If you had it working before you were probably using the free trial version of that one MS offered.

Do not download and try to use the VLC at MS Store. It doesn't come with the DVD/Blueray player.. I don't know why. Probably because MS wants you to pay $10 for their player.

VLC and Audacity are good free programs.. your choice. Do a search and make sure you are getting the proper website not a knock off download site.

Check the system requirements for your OS for the editing program version you want to update to. I'm finding they usually want to use Hardware GPU instead of CPU and higher version of Open GL.. 3.3-4.
The new Topaz Labs Studio needs 3 and above Open GL. They even tell you what display card you'll need.

I was happy using my 6 year old Windows 7 (open gl version 2).. bug found I had to update to recent hardware.

Sometimes I can't help it, when I shoot horizontally.. but I'd most rather shoot while I'm still vertical to my subject. That is, if I can get back up.......;)

Most of my images are landscape format and it depends what the subject dictates whether I switch to portrait format. I would say about 30% of the time. I prefer landscape and then crop to portrait, only because it's easier to take the shot (not turning the camera).

Thank you everyone...... that was a good critique. I usually do close-ups on my flowers and get just a partial abstract shot.. this one caught my attention by 1. Composition of 3's , 2. It matched the Spiral composition (overlay when viewing in my editing program!) and 3. It was a little disturbing with the infocus front flower and the not quite in focus back flowers. The bystanders.

For me, it's different and I'll probably use it as a background photo on my computer. Again.. thank you All for the great critique. Exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you, RedIris. I was told as a child that it was a honeysuckle flower and I guess I never questioned it. LOL I appreciate the information.

You're welcome. I do a lot of flower gardening. Honeysuckle is a vine. The flower is white. Columbine grows directly out of the ground on a stalk from the central plant. This is a Common Wild Columbine. There are many hybrid colors, but the flower in the wild is red/yellow. Hummingbirds love them.
Perhaps your folks called it that since you can snip the bulbous end of each funnel and suck out the honey from the flower. We used to do that as kids.. I taught my kids and Grandchildren to do that too.. ;)

I'm pretty sure that's a Columbine.

Nice bokeh background. Focal point is nice. Composition good, but could use some shifting to the left, it needs some room in front of it. The stem leads your eye to the flower. Lighting is great. I like the soft edges. Delicate.
Could use some contrast or not, since the edges are soft, and depicting delicacy.

Photo of my Iris in my flower bed. As I was Post Processing this photo, I decided to crop it in a Golden Spiral composition. Critique, please. Not just the composition.

IMHO

The very thing that stands out in this tunnel of arches is the bright window at the end of the tunnel......... and it's light is blown out. Unless that's what you intended, it could be better with the Adjustment brush in Lightroom or similar program. I can barely see some object in there, so I think it can be saved.
