Just seem that running the shutter of every production camera 100,000 times might not be a good thing. Spot checking every 1,000 cameras in this way, maybe. Every camera would mean you are getting a camera with 100,000 shutter activations already on it.
It would be like Lamborghini test driving every car for 100,000 miles. Would you pay that price for a car with 100,000 miles?
Whats a Lambo got to do with cameras? Both machines and there the similarity ends. Strongly suggest you do not pour petrol into your camera and if you find out how to fit a spark plug in it be sure and let us know!
If a manufacturer decides to test every shutter with 100000 activation's they possibly know more about what is good for their product than you and I.
