It's always someone else's fault. I don't leave knives and other dangerous items out either.

Exactly right. It's called parenting! :)

Believe me I feel what all you are going thru.
I spent 4 years in the USAF 1958-1962.
With all of that going on with your family, it's got to be hard.
Our Vet., a wonderful person, stayed right with us and explained what she was doing at all times.
She first put "Snickers" into a deep deep sleep.
Then she administered the drug.
He just passed peacefully and it was a relief to know that all went smoothly.
I feel that it was blessing.
I wish people had the benefits that animals do.

I've loved all my dogs!
It was one of the hardest this I've ever done.....to look into my Rottweiler's eyes and see the life fade away.
I felt I owed it to him to be there when it was time, but I think it just that much harder.
So, think if you're strong enough to actually watch the process. I never will again.

Kretzschmar,

Just saw your ad for your 500mm f/4 Canon. Are you the first owner? Was the lens purchased Canon USA? Has the lens been serviced by Canon? How would you rate the lens in its condition? Could you please supply the manufacture date code? Thanks.

Hi Kretzschmar,
I believe I'm the second owner.
It's registered with CPS so, I assume it a USA lens.
If requested, I'll send it to CPS for cleaning, but I don't think it needs anything.
It looks new except for where the hood attaches to the body which I believe is typical of the type of hood/lens combo.
The date code is UN0703.
Thanks for looking,
Tim

Yeah, I'd say the best time to sell is after people get their tax returns.

I'll sure need to by then.....they didn't take taxes out of my 5 months of disability payments. LOL

I'll repost it mid Jan. if I still have it.
You could always send the link to someone if they ask what you want. :D

I bought it used may 2017. That was right before the Epilepsy started. I only got to take it out a few times.
Sorry for the memory issue. :)

Sorry, I should have included that in the post.

Thank you,

Sorry, I don't really have anything to do macro work all I have is long lenses.
I'm also including either a Wimberley Mk1 gimbal (well used) or a Canon 1.4x I extender, your choice.
Thanks,

Take it to someplace like Yellowstone. You can photograph wildlife from the car with that lens.
