To an extent, right on! You'll never get the shot you can't see!

My last Nikon film camera was the FM2. I loved it and created many great images with it and my collection of Nikon lenses.
BUT, when Nikon went digital, I went with them and have never looked back or regretted my decision. Digital post-processing gave me results and control that I never could attain on film. Ciurrently, I am using a D850 and love it.

I am quite sure it is a 1039 La Salle phoeton. It could;d be a 1038, they are quite similar. My umcle had a 37 La Salle 3-door sedan.

Good Job! I always found the North Rim challenging to capture, compared to the South.

Seventy year speaking: I have carried several different SLR cameras and usually a zoom lens attached on short flights and lengthy international flights in both hemispheres without any discernible degradation of any characteristics I can sense. Security has asked for lens removal a few times and camera actuation as well several times in particularly paranoid places and years.
Just sayin'

The difference is clearly the user.

To doubt the above diagnosis would just constitute a most emphatic confirmation of its accuracy.

You can very simply test this for yourself. Use a tripod, focus using magnified live view, and shoot at f:8. The D750 has a low pass filter, so you should normally apply just a small degree of sharpening either to your camera settings or in post.

It is always THE PHOTOGRAPHER! Technique is the determining factor in ANY photograph. Equipment helps but is not magic.

Because I didn't know what analog photography was although I had been using film cameras for over 30 years before I saw the word "Analog Photography".

I started photography with an Argus C3 in 1954 and it just a camera with which you "did photography". All of a sudden in the Seventies I discovered a choice: analog or digital! Now I can "do photography" with my phone! Are we someday going to be able to "think a photograph"?

Great camera. I have one as a backup to my D850. The answer is yes! Get a user manual and start in the AUTO mode and learn by experiment how to improve results by experimentation with Aperture pref and later shutter pref mode. It will be frustrating in the beginning but she has all the growth potential she may ever need.

I forgot a camera when I wen t to my twin grandsons' graduation last month. All I had was my iPhone. I got just as usable images with it as I would have gotten with all the big gear.
