I use a black rapid strap attached to the foot . ALWAYS CHECK THE TIGHTNESS OF THE CONNECTION is must be screwed in tight!
Keep in mind if you are shooting with others the Red light can mess up the color cast of someone else's photo or your own so turn it off in between, Practice your movements. turning the red light on and off, camera adjustments, tripod adjustments etc. Without looking at what you're doing. I did this in my basement with the lights off the second time I was going to shoot at night and it went much better than the first.
It's probably just a security setting on you putor
I love my BenQ 27" QHD 2K is best for editing.
If you go to their website you can often find refurbished models for less
My Sony mount Sigma 100-400 didn't come with a tripod foot for $130.00
Black Rapid shoulder for me , I prefer the one with the extra strap that goes under my arm to keep it from sliding around on long hikes . If the lens has a foot on it Iattach the strap to the foot so that when the camera is at my side it rides parallel to the ground . I have 3 straps one for each camera as I got tired of switching
If that is a crop sensor, you might really enjoy the Tamron 18_400
When I went from Canon to Sony I used an adapter until I could afford to replace all the Canon L glass I had with native E mount glass for the most part everything worked good enough to keep me shooting. I would expect your adapted Sony lenses would work well until you can replace with new.
Excellent images, gulls are so nice to practise on
I adapted my old canon lenses, most noticeably the 100-400 to my Sony with the Sigma adapter and it worked well . AF was slightly slower in less than optimal light but it stiill functioned well, on a Canon I would think it would work perfectly fine if it worked on your dslr.
I bought the a6600 2 yrs ago the IBS, and the fact that it took the same battery as my a7III.
My solution a Sony a6600,Sigma mc11 adaptor and Tamron 18 400 EF MOUNT (if/when tamron comes out with a E MOUNT I'll be first in line and get rid of the adaptor) and a cross body strap gives decent IQ and versatility. When I think I will have a need for a longer lens or better image quality I throw on the beast Sigma 150 600 but the weight than jumps up :)
Note once plugged into a usb port I have to unlock my phone like I normally would to use it before I can open filesthrough my puter
For travel, I went with a Sony a6600 and adapted my Tamron 18_400 and a fast wide angle for nights
I used it with my 7dmk2 and was very pleased with the results ,over time things inside the camera and lens move ! I would check every 3 or 4 months
