It is a nice size, and the mechanical parts are great. It accepts motors, youcan change the focusing prism, and use a waist level finder. All good.
But, it basically shuts down when the battery wears out. Shutter only works at one speed. It is difficult to focus compared to other Nikon or Leica SLRs. Because it is so difficult to see the information in the viewfinder it is difficult to use the camera in metered manual mode. It won’t accept flash without a clumsy adaptor.
I own 2 of these and have had several through the years. As aternitive, checkout Nikon FM2 or a Lecia R4 or R5. Just as well made and reliable

Thanks in advance for your answers. UHH has never let me down.
You can install it on as many computers as you want but only two can be signed in at a time.

Diffraction is a function of both aperture and sensor (pixel) size. The smaller the sensor, the sooner diffraction effects become objectionable. Large format cameras could use f/64 while full frame cameras may produce objectionable diffraction at f/16 and APS-C cameras may produce objectionable diffraction at f/11. But with smaller sensors, you get better depth of field at wider apertures and therefore don't need the smaller apertures of cameras with larger sensors. So it's all good.

Obviously not, you'll have three different meter readings, how can they be identical?

But the meter reading wouldn’t change the exposure if he is in manual mode.

Hey Tom! Thanks for your comment. I’m terribly sorry to hear that you’re in such bad shape that reading 3 paragraphs wears you out. I certainly hope your condition improves!
As for following your advice, I’m sorry to tell you that I choose not to. I prefer to tell my stories in my own way. What that means is that all of my posts will be too lengthy for you. I suggest you simply not read my comments. It seems to be a simple solution, and certainly more considerate of you.

Im currently shooting with a canon T3 and have managed to come up with about 1000 dollars to spend on some new gear. I want to stay with canon so I can still use other lens purchased but not sure if I want a new camera body or another lens. I have basically outgrown my T3 or so I believe and have been looking at the canon 80D however most people I have talked to said the 77D is a great camera. I Shoot mostly landscape and wildlife however am currently starting classes on portrait photography and some night photography.. Any suggestions would be great appreciated.

I have a Canon EOS mount and want an all purpose lens. These are my criteria: Focal length from 10 to say 700mm, fixed aperture of 1.8 or better yet 1.4, autofocus, image stabilization, weight not more than 5 ounces, price not more than $300. What do you suggest ??

When I follow lens use recommendations for landscapes discussions on UHH, invariably ultra wides~~~ 20mm, 18mm, 14mm, 10mm, etc.~~~are mentioned. When I shoot landscapes/seascapes with a FX camera I usually use a 35mm or 50mm and occasionally an 85mm. Am I missing something by not using an ultra wide?

They give you more landscape in your landscapes

42nd St. Photo is offering a Nikon D500 for $1449, that's $450.99 under the regular price. It is by far the best price I have found for the camera. However, I'm a little skeptical and not sure whether to order from them or not. I have heard some stories about gray market and bait/switch tactics. Anybody have any experience with them? Thanks.
