really good...I am glad it's you and not me.
Hahaha, I would say the same to someone taking family portraits!
Thought you all would enjoy seeing some photos I've taken of insects and arachnids over the past couple of years! I'm a sucker for following bugs around for hours on end. I also enjoy the strange looks I get when I'm lying on the ground, pointing my camera at a stem near a walkway for twenty minutes. Gotta love photography!
This is my first post, so I'm very excited to receive feedback. I hope you enjoy! Most of these were taken with a Sony a230.

Hi Katie what software programme are you using
Great images
Hey! I mostly use Picasa to edit my photos. These photographs were shot using a Sony a230, and edited with only Picasa. I recently purchased a new Canon 7D and am beginning to mix Picasa editing with Photoshop CS6 editing.
Absolutely gorgeous! The last one, being a squirrel, caught me off guard and made me giggle. Beautiful shots.
Hey everyone! My name is Katie, and I'm a photography student at Randolph Community College. I'm majoring in Commercial Photography with a concentration in Biocommunications. I hope to become an ophthalmic photographer after I graduate. I've photographed a couple of weddings along with numerous engagement, pet, family and concert photoshoots as an amateur, and when I go on photo safaris I adore emotive portraits, architecture, and anything involving a bug. I recently traveled to Seattle, and on my way back during a layover I met someone who uses this website. He suggested it to me and I think this is a wonderful community, so it's nice to be here! Feel free to ask me any questions. I'm excited to receive constructive critiques and inspiration here.
