i dont even know if this is the proper place to ask, i just got a canon sl1 - do i have a 'good enough' camera body to go out and buy a 100mm prime macro lens and get quality pictures?

All you mid country and west coasters, there is a great moon out there just waiting for you! i would be out taking shots but there is a nasty haze out here in ne ohio..go get em and post em in the photo gallery, looking forward to seeing your moon pics!
