When you say "handling with one hand" and "half the weight" encouraging. Thanks for your input. Doug
4/3rds appears to be growing in popularity rapidly, your reference to print size is very helpful. I have noted the square format, maybe a challenge vs the "35mm" shape. Sincerely appreciate your effort listing the available options with comments, certainly gives me a head start. Thanks, Doug
My wife is an experienced photographer currently using a Nikon 750. Looking for a mirrorless camera, weight has become very important, these typically do not go together any better than price. We do make large prints. While we have only owned Nikons, making the change to mirrorless makes changing manufacturer easier. All guidance and ideas will help my search. Thanks, Doug
Great, already noted, thanks. Doug
Have received a large number of responses, I have created a good list of questions to ask before we leave. I sincerely appreciate all of the help. Thank you, Doug

Preparing for a photo trip to Zambia which will include night shooting of wildlife. Any suggestions for flash equipment? In addition to the flash unit, understand we may want to consider a flash extender. Have experience with photo safaris, I have no experience using flash. Doug
Will continue working. My objective is what you describe Doug
Have never used lightoom, have a lot to learn, solved the problem appreciate everyone's help, thank you.
I messed up on my response again. I can open the file in Photoshop, I cannot view the image in bridge.
The files prior to using the 850 all open when opening folder. I did not expect this to change with the new camera? Doug
I recently purchased a Nikon D850. I can only open the NEF files one at a time vs all opening when accessing the folder. What am I missing? Doug
