I was very disappointed to find out Qimage Ultimate, this excellent print program, is not available for my Mac. The company suggested running it on Parallels for Mac.
Have any of you had experience in doing that? I have an old version of Parallels but I don't want to upgrade unless I know it will work well.
These are really cool. I will have to start using my Topaz now that I broke down and bought the lot!

Probably the best investment I have ever made in my photography goals.

Which one do you have and which one do you wish you had? I want one bad but get confused over the choices.
A Wacom medium table is excellent for both PS & LR.
Someone once told me there are no stupid questions so I will go ahead and ask this one...
Is it safe to leave my DSLR in a closed/locked car when it is very hot or cold out? I know with film cameras the film will be ruined in a hot car but I was wondering if a sensor screen has the same problem of being destroyed by too much heat or cold?
Tough call. #1 looks more natural but #2 is far more vibrant and catches the eye...
Wonderful capture here Gregory!

Anyone upgraded to the latest Mac OSX - searching the internet indicates there have been some problems - should I wait for the first update to deal with any bugs etc;
Did so a week ago and the only problem I had was finding the .dmg file to install. Once I found it everything has worked as I hoped it would.
I am really confused about how to take off camera flash and use triggers to fire the flash. I have an inexpensive Canon T3 a couple of inexpensive strobes and a couple inexpensive triggers (do you get the feeling I don't have a lot of money) but no clue how to use them. Could someone please tell me how or direct me to a tutorials/video/YouTube where I might learn? Needless to say free would be good.

You do realize that's actually her hair on the right side of her head?
I tend to agree with Searchers here. While it may be her hair it does look more like she has a beard. Of course as Searchers also says: "your opinion" may vary. Which is one of the things I love about photography; there are no rights or wrongs. Cool shot by the way.

Wonderful photos. Looks like a beautiful place to be at sunset.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the great tips. I think I will follow the suggestion to backup everything and then delete the catalog. Okay, how the heck do I "delete" the catalog? I saw no way to do this when I went into LR.
Thanks again!
I started using LR way before I had any understanding of how it works. As a consequence everything in it is messed up. I would like to know if it is possible, and how to do it if it is, to delete all the files in LR without losing my photos. I'm on a Mac and of course have the iPhoto app where I "assume" all my pictures are actually stored. Although I do have them in other places including an external drive.
I'm taking a course now that is really complete and I would like to start total fresh with LR. Can I do it? Thanks for any help or suggestions.
