Some of my favorite images have been the simplest ones. Most of my images are not simple, so I challenged myself to "simplify". Sometimes referred to as "Minimalist" photography, space, composition, subject, texture, color etc. are used to create an image which appears simple but can convey complex art, emotion, stories. These articles are excellent with great examples. One is using your smart phone's camera to create "minimalist" images. (I am trying to better utilize my smart phone's camera.) If we determine an image we have captured would be further enhanced, we crop. This challenge is a study of the 'square crop'. I found the above links interesting and an reinforcement of what I have learned (or trying to learn) from all of you.
